Lindsley Excavating

Lindsley Excavating / Land clearing & grubbing.

Land clearing & grubbing.

Lindsley Excavating provides land clearing, vegetation removal, grubbing, chipping and debris handling for construction sites and property improvements. A marked boundary and an agreed finish condition help turn acreage into a priceable scope.

Mark clearing and protection limits

Identify the trees, vegetation, fencing and other features to remove and those to retain. Include access routes and staging areas in the clearing plan. Acres alone do not describe tree size, density, terrain or the amount of material that must be handled.

Distinguish cutting from grubbing

Removing above-ground vegetation and removing roots or stumps are different operations. For future building and pavement areas, provide the site-preparation requirements from the plans. For selective clearing, describe the intended use and the condition you expect when the work is complete.

Decide where the material goes

Chipping, stockpiling and haul-off create different costs and site conditions. Identify approved disposal or reuse arrangements, whether chips may remain, and whether topsoil stripping or final grading is included. Stabilization and restoration should be listed when required by the project.

Project questions
