Lindsley Excavating

Lindsley Excavating / Demolition & site restoration.

Demolition & site restoration.

Lindsley reviews structural and site-demolition work together with debris loading, hauling, backfill and restoration. Send the structure information, removal limits and available surveys so the demolition scope can be evaluated before pricing.

Define what remains and what is removed

Identify buildings, foundations, slabs, pavement, tanks and underground features within the scope. Include nearby structures and utilities to protect. Removing a building above grade, removing its foundation and preparing the ground for new construction are distinct proposal items.

Resolve surveys and utility interfaces

Share available hazardous-material surveys, disconnect information and project requirements. Any regulated-material work, specialty removal or utility-company work must be assigned clearly. Those responsibilities should never be assumed to be covered by a general demolition allowance.

Price disposal and the final condition

Debris quantity and type, loading access, haul distance and approved disposal arrangements affect cost. The final scope may also include imported fill, compaction, drainage and grading. For redevelopment, provide the next construction phase so the demolition finish condition supports it.

Project questions

Can demolition and excavation be quoted together?

Yes. Identify whether foundations, slabs, unsuitable fill and new building excavation are part of the same package.

Is hazardous-material abatement automatically included?

No. Surveys and any required specialty work must be reviewed and allocated explicitly in the written scope.
